District Missions

	GRACE Ministries addresses the most pressing material and spiritual needs of low-income immigrants in the Northern Virginia region (Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Centreville, Falls Church, Herndon). It serves to empower immigrants to become community leaders. GRACE provides emergency food, clothing, and household items.
	ESL & Immigrant Ministries (ESLIM) is devoted to teaching English as a second language. It has grown to include 20 locations in Northern Virginia, with enrollments totaling more than 2000 students and 300 volunteers.
	Just Neighbors The mission of Just Neighbors is to provide immigration legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees of all faiths and nationalities through their offices in Northern Virginia. The attorneys, staff and committed volunteers of Just Neighbors offers hope and help as immigrants seek to navigate the current immigration system and access benefits that will enable them to become more contributing members of society. Through their community outreach efforts and volunteer program, Just Neighbors fosters mutual understanding between immigrants and the larger community in which they live. 	Rising Hope United Methodist Mission Church Rising Hope is a church which brings the power of Christ to the community living in poverty on the Route One corridor of Alexandria (Fairfax County). Rising Hope organizes its ministry around the pain in their community, serving "the least, the lost and the left out" via outreach programs, afterschool programs, as well as food and clothing ministries. Rising Hope is part of The Advance of the United Methodist Church, #803001.
