Make sure the district office has accurate contact information for your church's current Disaster Response Coordinator.
Why Disaster Response?
Response and Recovery happens on five levels at once:  Conference-wide efforts, work of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), district response and recovery, local church efforts, and community support. Disaster response and recovery is one of the ways we can show the love and be the hands, feet, and face of Jesus in the efforts we make in the community and around the world.

CONFERENCE DISASTER RESPONSE TRAINING:
The Virginia Conference Disaster Response Team will be offering conference-wide training in the spring of 2010. For more information, contact the Conference Center, 1-800-768-6040.

THE CONFERENCE DISASTER RESPONSE COORDINATOR: Rev. Bob Pihlcrantz
BI-DISTRICT DISASTER RESPONSE COORDINATOR: Mark Bradley
