August 4, 7-8:30 PM - Jesus & Java Summer Youth Bible Study, Friendship UMC, Falls Church. RSPV to Jim Harrington.
August 6 - 1-4 PM: Festival Day for the Hungry and Homeless on the Route One Corridor at Rising Hope UMMC, followed by an 8 PM benefit concert featuring international gospel star Jeff Majors, to be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 7836 Fordson Rd., Alexandria. To request tickets for the concert, please contact Rising Hope soon as this event is usually sold out and tickets will not likely be available at the door.

Saturdays - the 2nd Saturday of each month (8:30 AM) - Hiking Group meets at Friendship UMC, Falls Church
